There are only good things to say about this place. As a complete char siu bao lover, having a restaurant completely dedicated to the sweet, fluffy and savoury BAO was exactly what Soho was missing. Yes, we had to queue, but a friendly hostess swiftly got us cans of Asahi with menus and it was only about 30mins before we were seated in the cosy and modern restaurant. We tried 10 dishes and they were all fresh, delicious and made us generally happy! It’s hard to pick favourites, but I wouldn’t miss the scallop with yellow bean garlic, pig blood cake, classic bao, lamb shoulder bao or fried Horlicks ice cream bao. I will definitely be heading back to try more of the Taiwanese version of tapas and recommend it as a great date spot or place to catch up with a friend.
